He is popularly known in East Godavari District as Dr. Teja and is ardently seen by people with eye related problems particularly related to Retina. Dr. Teja was the first full time Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon in combined East and West Godavari Districts since 2010 after finishing his Medical & Surgical Retina fellowship in Department of ophthalmology, University of Alberta-Canada in 2009. Dr. Teja was the 1st Topical Phacoemulaifucation Cataract surgeon in the district since 2007. Dr. Teja has enormous experience and expertise in over 50,000 Cataract surgeries and 8000+ Vitreo-Retinal surgeries. Dr. Teja is supporting the high volume impact Premature babies screening program of Government RBSK (Rashtriya Bala Swatshya Karyakram) in Department of Neonatology - SNU - DEIC) General Hospital, East Godavari by treating premature babies for Retinopathy of Prematuritythrough Anju International Eye Care Foundation at No cost giving Anti-VEGF injection or Retinal Laser for needed cases to prevent permanent blindness due to Retinopathy of Prematurity.

In 2012 Dr. Teja has started his practice at Kakinada with his 5 employees with the name Anju Eye Care.Later it became history by starting Alberta International Eye Hospital and Yashvedh Healthcare Services in 2017 in his own building at Gaigolupadu Junction Kakinada. The Anju Healthcare Services India Private Limited was registered in August 2021 and it built an Eye Hospital in an area of 6.40 acres land at Dharmavaram, Prathipadu mandal, East Godavari District. Now 7 ophthalmologists & 80 staff are working with Anju Healthcare Services India Private Limited.

Presently Dr. Teja is the Director of Anju Healthcare services India Pvt Ltd, Chairman & Founder of Anju International Eye Care Foundation, Medical Director of Alberta International Eye Hospital, Vitreo-Retinal & Phaco Surgeon and translational Research Fellow - University of Maastricht-Netherlands 2021.
